As most everyone knows, we are about to have our third baby, and boy did it sneak up on me! It is amazing how when you are pregnant with your first your mind works like this "baby, baby, baby....baby nursery, baby cloths, baby, baby, baby", your second it is like "Baby, baby, Finley....Finley's room, Finley's cloths, Baby, FInley, Finley", this time it was like, two weeks before baby, "OMG we are having a baby in two weeks....maybe I should get a couple things out" and five days before baby at target "yeah maybe I should get a few diapers". With all that said we are finally ready for baby....I think!
With all our pregnancies David and I try to get to seattle for a night or two a month or so before the big day, and there was no excetion this time. A couple of weekends ago we headed for the westside and had so much fun catching up with friends and family all while enjoying the amazing weather Seattle brewed up for us! Of course my camera was the first thing packed, so here are a few pics, well more like a lot of pics, of our little pre baby outing!
Of course the first thing we did was feed this pregnant mamma! Here was my amazing view across the table at PF changs! Oh boy did those lettuce wraps hit the spot!
Number two on the list was shopping at nordstroms for nursing bra's, but I thought I would spare every one the horror of having to see documentation of that process!
After that on to the Brooklyn for some yummy, so David says, oysters!
And you can't have oysters without beer...right? Suppose I wouldn't really know being that beer and oysters are not on my preggo diet!
Can't go to Seattle without hitting the market!
Finally we spent Sunday catching up with a friend of mine that I hadn't seen in somewhere close to fifteen years and her new Hubby! Being such a cutie couple I couldn't pass up the opportunity to click a few shots of them and their adorable selves, although under protest, they were great sports. We had an amazing afternoon visiting and laughing!
I love, love, love this next picture because this is the Heather that I remember and know! Not sure if Heather knows what an amazing friend and role model she was to me growing up, but there really are no words that explain my gratitude for all the time and laughs she gave me! So, so happy to see her so happy and can't wait to spend more time with such positive, fun friends!
I also love how Cam looks as though he has totally lost interest in playing photography!
Last but not least....I handed my camera over to Heather and stepped to the otherside of the photog world...the subject! If I ever need an assistant for all those destination photography shoots I will do in the future...ha, ha....she will definitely be my go to girlie!
All in all it was a short, but amazing trip. Forgot to mention that I also got to catch up with my best friend Melissa, now that she finally has some time off, and spent some time with my Cousin Nicole, who I haven't seen in over 7 years! Perfect pre baby getaway if you ask me!!
